Although the German company Maybach was founded in 1909, it did not build the first experimental car until 1919 and presented it at the Berlin Motor Show two years later. That is, in 1921, in other words, 100 years ago.

Since then, it has undergone several bankruptcies and changes in ownership until today, when it is a Mercedes-Maybach manufacturer of super-luxury cars within the Daimler Group. And this brand now shows two cars in the limited Edition 100 series.

They are S-Class and GLS, both in two-tone Cirrus silver and navy blue. The interiors of both cars are combined with white and silver gray, but at the customer’s request it is possible to produce a completely custom interior.

Within Edition 100, in addition to colors and interiors, there are also special plaques and inscriptions everywhere possible. Customers will also receive a tarpaulin with a double M logo and a leather-covered box for keys and documents for the car.

Under the hood of the GLS works a supercharged eight-cylinder with 557 horsepower, the S-Class is powered by a V12 with 612 horsepower – and it is, of course, the longest variant of this class that the brand offers, marked Z223. Take the air suspension for granted in both versions.

Maybach did not announce the price at which the specials will be sold, but it is almost certain that the prices of both cars will be higher than the amount these models start with. This is 5.6 million crowns for the S2222 S-class with a twelve-cylinder, and 4.2 million crowns for the GLS X167 class. However, we know that it will be possible to order from the last quarter of this year and only 100 pieces will be created for each model.
