“Maya, get out!” Protesters chanted in front of the scandalous construction near Aleppo. About 80 people gathered at the place, mostly young people from Primorsko. Among them are the mayors of Burgas Dimitar Nikolov and Stara Zagora Zhivko Todorov, as well as GERB MPs and activists.
The reason for the protest was the news from the end of last week that the scandalous construction has a new owner – the mayor of Primorsko Stoyan Vassilev. He is the brother of Zdravko Vassilev, who became popular from the reality show “Big Brother”. However, Zdravko Vassilev was third on the parliamentary list of “Stand up! Get out” in the last parliamentary elections.
