Damage to liver health
Luncheon contains sodium nitrate, which affects the liver and internal organs of the body, as it turns into nitrites, which are oxidizing substances that cause long-term liver damage.
Food poisoning
Poisoning is caused by bacteria found in lunch meat and processed meat, and the enzymes in this type of food convert nitrates into a toxic substance in the body.
Skin infections
Butylhydroxyanisole, found in lunch meat, can cause skin infections in some cases if ingested in large quantities.
Severe pain in the chest
Monosodium glutamate within lunch meat causes severe chest pain.
