Jakarta – After going through a rigorous selection process, the collaborative project of Telcomcell, Maxstream and Vahana Edukosi has finally reached its peak. To be precise, at the 2020 MAXscript Class Awards event which was held on July 8, 2021. There were 10 winners at the 2021 MaxScript Class Champion.
MaxScript Class is a writing, competition and training program aimed at accelerating the rise of screenwriters in Indonesia, said Telcomcell Nirvan Lesmana, vice president of digital lifestyle.

This project features a number of experienced mentors who will select the best writers and then guide them to participate in future series projects with MAXstream at Wahana Creator.
Registration opened for the first time on October 28 to November 24, 2020, with 1,693 participants registering. Participants were selected in eight stages and received written materials: Issues and Arguments, Complexes, Characters and Writing Curve, Short Summary, Outline, Therapy, Conversation and Guest Lecturer.
In these eight stages, thousands of participants from all over Indonesia were screened, and only the best 10 participants were announced at the 2020 MaxScript Class Awards.
The holding of the MaxScript Class Awards is the culmination of a year of MaxScript class activities and the awarding ceremony for the winners who participated in the 2020 MaxScript Class activities.
From the 1,693 entrants who registered, 10 winners and the first three places were selected with a total prize pool of $150 million.
“Recently, the rapid growth of the creative sector, especially during the epidemic, has increased the demand for audience content,” said Salman Aristo, CEO of Wahana Creator Nusantara.
According to him, it is important to bring in new writers so that the resulting story will be very different.

From the top ten participants, the top three have been selected with a total prize of $150 million, namely Salman Hakeem, Alia Hakeem and Kurnia Kahya Putra.
Selected winners will have the opportunity to be involved in script and creative development for several Maxstream Originals projects, including the Indonesian series after Love Games.

According to Nirvana, in the future the MaxScript class program will become a regular program, which will open up various opportunities and opportunities for more filmmakers and creative professionals in the country to create quality entertainment for the people of Indonesia.
