This year, Meiland is one of the ambassadors of Stoptober, the campaign that attempts to persuade smokers to quit. Meiland wants to give up cigarettes from now on because of her daughters Claire (6) and Vivé (2), she says. “I wouldn’t mind if they started smoking later, but I would also hope that it is a phase of puberty. And that at some point they will stop doing it again.”
