It’s a disappointment for Maxime Dereymez, the dancer, in duet with the singer Lam, has been eliminated from Dance with the stars during the first premium broadcast this Friday, September 17 on TF1. It must be said that the choreographer was not in great shape, he also appeared with sunglasses throughout the show. And for good reason: Maxime Dereymez has been suffering for several weeks fromkeratitis, an infection of the eye. In an interview with Leisure TV this Wednesday, September 22, the dancer has said more about what makes him suffer.

While returning from a festival, Maxime Dereymez began to have pain in his eye. “I felt that I had discomfort to the eye. On Monday at 4 a.m., before the meeting with my celebrity scheduled for 8 a.m., I went to the emergency room. They hospitalized me straight away because I had keratitis. It is an infection of the cornea that creates abscesses, explains the dancer of Dance with the stars. But that’s not all : bacteria have joined the infection from which the dancer who has seen suffers his eye get bigger and bigger.

How is Maxime Dereymez today?

An infection that made Maxime Dereymez suffer a lot, especially during premium registration. “The slightest ray of light was irritating. I had to squint or turn my head. I took a lot on myself, he reports before adding, I wanted to go all the way out of friendship (for Laam) and professionalism. We finished recording the first premium around 2 am-3am. At 8 a.m., I was in the emergency room and I was hospitalized for four days. My antibiotic was not effective enough. There, I had an intensive treatment with eye drops every hour … “ For two days, the choreographer has been doing better and is no longer embarrassed. “I’m waiting to switch to cortisone to get my eye back to normal”, concluded Maxime Dereymez.
