Máxima receives a special invitation from Norwegian royals

However, a spokesman for the Norwegian court confirmed later that day that Queen Máxima, who is godmother to Sverre Magnus, will not attend the ceremony. Due to the corona crisis, only the prince’s three Norwegian godparents will be present.

Prince Pavlos of Greece and Princess Rosario of Bulgaria, who are also godparents, will not travel to Norway, just like Máxima. For the confirmation of Sverre Magnus as a member of the Norwegian Lutheran Church, as usual, all his godparents were duly invited.
