Maxim seized the broadcast of Jinek to voice his displeasure with Connie’s popular Instagram account. “You share quite a lot of private things. Why do you do that?” Wonders the presenter. “Then I have a solution for you: unfollow”, Connie gives as a tip. Maxim explains that he does not follow her, and that he will never share anything about his personal life. “That’s why you’re talking about containers and I’m talking about life”, Connie sneered.

Maxim tells RTL Boulevard that it was never ‘wrong’ between him and Connie: “She’s just a fierce aunt, and I am myself. She suddenly felt attacked, I have that sometimes and I take her that “I’m sorry. I didn’t feel the need to put her in her place either, because I think she’s a lovely woman. If she gets so angry about this, fine. I don’t feel like it.”
According to Maxim, the reactions were not too bad. “I have received maybe eleven or twelve hate messages, but mostly a lot of positive reactions.”
