Red Bull racer Max Verstappen succeeded in GP Belgia, bloat his teammate Sergio Perez. This marks Verstappen’s eighth straight win in F1 2023.
In the race at the Spa-Francorchamps Circuit, Sunday (30/7/2023) evening WIB, Verstappen started from the sixth grid after being handed a gearbox penalty during qualifying. However, the penalty was not able to stop the Belgian racer.
Verstappen moved up two positions in the opening round after Carlos Sainz and Oscar Piastri collided in the first corner. Both drivers then both retired, then Verstappen calmly passed Lewis Hamilton, Charles Leclerc and Perez after 17 rounds.

In the middle of the race, it rained. Nevertheless, Verstappen finally passed the checkered flag with a 22 second advantage over Sergio Perez.
Leclerc had to settle for finishing third even though he started the race at the forefront. After being overtaken by Perez in the first round, the Ferrari racer survived Lewis Hamilton’s attacks before securing his third podium this season.
Aston Martin driver Fernando Alonso finished fifth ahead of Mercedes driver George Russell and McLaren driver Lando Norris. Alpine rider Esteban Ocon overtook Alonso’s teammate Lance Stroll to take eighth place while Yuki Tsonoda finished 10th for Alpa Tauri.
