Red Bull driver Max Verstappen achieved the fastest result in the third practice runs of the Mexican GP, and Alex Albon again demonstrated a good performance, taking the second place.
2023 F1 champion Verstappen’s fastest time in the final practice session ahead of tonight’s qualifying was 1:17.887, narrowly edging out Williams’ Albon. Sergio Perez was also not far behind the leaders on his home track, who is in third position and 0.139 seconds behind his teammate.
So far, Verstappen has been the fastest in all practice sessions. Already in the first session, Albon was second, followed by Perez. In the second practice, Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc lined up behind Verstappen.
The qualification in Mexico City will start at midnight Latvian time, but the competition will start on Sunday at 22:00.
