Spanish Grand Prix F1 qualification 2023 It’s finished. racer Red Bull Racing Max Verstappen unstoppable to take pole position.
In the session held at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Saturday (3/6/2023) evening WIB, Verstappen has always looked excellent since the Q1 session.
Entering the Q3 session, Verstasppen immediately recorded the fastest time of 1 minute 12.272 seconds. At that time, his rivals could not overtake his record, so Verstappen won his fourth pole this season.
Verstappen has also succeeded in continuing his dominance at the Barcelona GP because he has always been at the forefront since the first free practice session, Friday (2/6).
Behind Verstappen are the riders Ferrari Carlos Sainz Jr, who had to settle for second place with a difference of almost half a second. In third place is the surprising McLaren driver Lando Norris.
Completing the top five positions are Alpine racer Pierre Gasly and Mercedes racer Lewis Hamilton. Lance Stroll, Esteban Ocon, Nico Hulkenberg, Fernando Alonso and Oscar Piastri were in sixth to tenth respectively.
Bad luck experienced by Ferrari racers Charles Leclerc who fell in Q1 and started from 19th position due to engine problems. Sergio Perez also started from 11th position.
