Max Verstappen, double F1 world champion, was filmed committing several offenses in a tunnel at the exit of Nice.
Video footage showing the double F1 world champion driving an Aston Martin Valkyrie, traveling at 120mk/h, was posted on an Instagram “story” by his friend and personal trainer Mark Cox.
The scene shows several traffic offenses committed by Max Verstappen. It would have been recorded at the exit of Nice in a tunnel limited to 90 km / h. No details on the date of the recording were provided by RTL to whom we owe the information.
Multiple Offenses in a Single Sequence
The Dutch F1 driver drove over 120km/h on a 90-limit road. He also stayed in the left lane. In the tunnel, he passed other vehicles while manipulating the touch screen of his car. At the wheel of his car, he wore a helmet, a fact prohibited by law in France but which the manufacturer of Aston Martin recommends to protect the eardrum of the pilots.
Little risk of punishment
“If the gendarmes have a cell dedicated to the analysis of these videos, the latter could not be sanctioned for speeding. Quite simply because the statement will not be approved”, comments RTL.
Millions of views
The sequence recorded millions of views and sparked heated controversy. A police union suggests a driving course.
Max Verstappen who programs his Waze with 1200 hp in the back, it’s beautiful 😅
