After a complex year in which the New Amsterdam leadership underwent a drastic change, Max will return to command. Meanwhile, Bloom decides to give Leyla more space, but she gets a surprise.
And in the second chapter, Dr. Goodwin tests a bold new savings program that could help both New Amsterdam and its neediest patients. Wilder, for his part, faces a patient’s decision not to undergo an operation that could save his life. Reynolds, for his part, makes an important discovery about his father’s behavior and Iggy delves into the unique world of online dating.
