Libreville, Friday September 29, 2023 (Infos Gabon) – This communications professional was promoted to the prestigious position of spokesperson for the country’s leading institution following the Council of Ministers held yesterday under the presidency of the Head of State, Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema.
He is undoubtedly one of the major beneficiaries of the resolutions resulting from the Council of Ministers held yesterday under the presidency of Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema. Max Olivier Obame was until then an advisor and member of the High Authority for Communication (HAC). The new spokesperson for the Presidency of the Republic will have to assist in the communications department, Telesphore Obame Ngomo, special advisor to the President of the Transition. A seasoned communications professional, the graduate has proven himself on the air of Radio Gabon where he was a columnist and at Radio Télévision Gabon, former RTG 1 (Gabon 1time), where he served as a television news presenter.
Holder of a Master’s degree in modern literature obtained at the Omar Bongo University (UOB), Max Olivier Obame studied at the French Press Institute, he is also a doctor in Information and Communication Sciences from the Panthéon Assas Paris 2 University and is the author of a thesis on the theme: “African viewers facing the internationalization of television programs: the situation in Central Africa”.
In his new role, he will serve as a transmission belt between the public and the presidency through the media.
