Max Kruse is out – these stars are in the final
The twelfth season of the Sta.1 show “Celebrity Big Brother” is coming to an end. Shortly before the final, the next star’s dream of victory was dashed.
At the beginning of October, 14 VIPs moved into the most difficult shared apartment with television in Germany. About two weeks later, the “Celebrity Big Brother” container is almost empty again. Since last Monday, the public in front of the screens has been voting one star after another.
Presenter Verena Kerth and journalist Bea Peters opened the show. TikTok star Sinan Movez and reality TV actress Cecilia Asoro were also kicked off the show, as was former DSDS participant Daniel Lopes. Due to health problems, Elena Miras returned home. On Saturday, after a viewer vote, she was followed by influencer Sarah Wagner and “Tatort” star Mimi Fiedler.
Now the next celebrity had to pack their bags: a day before the final, football star Max Kruse was also absent. He received the fewest calls from viewers on Sunday. Just like his wife Dilara, who participated in the format last year, the ex-professional footballer finished in sixth place.
Five candidates are now still in the running for victory: actor Jochen Horst, former “Berlin – Tag & Nacht” actor Matthias Höhn, “Big Brother” legend Alida Kurras and reality TV couple Leyla Lahouar and Mike Heiter. Moreover, both leave with a very personal prize: they got engaged. In the semi-final, Mike got down on one knee in front of Leyla – and she said “yes”.
They now have twice the chance of winning 100,000 euros in prizes. The finale of the twelfth season will take place on October 21 with a big live show. Then it will be decided who will follow in Yeliz Koc’s footsteps. “Celebrity Big Brother” will once again be hosted this year by Jochen Schropp and Marlene Lufen.
