Max Barsky Translates Hit Song “Mists” into Ukrainian for Fans

The favorite track of the artist’s fans now sounds in their native language.

Singer fans Max Barsky could not wait for him to finally translate his Russian-language hits into Ukrainian.

For a long time, the performer was hesitant about this idea, because he was afraid that the whole meaning and mood of the songs might be lost due to translation. But, finally, Barsky managed to find the perfect words for his hit “Mists”.

Max presented the version of the song in Ukrainian on his Instagram page – the performer sang a new chorus and shared the words. Most of the lines in the text managed to be translated almost identically to the initial hit.

“Today, more than ever, I want one of the most important songs in my work to sound in Ukrainian,” the performer wrote.

Fans of Barsky have already heard the full version of “Mists” in Ukrainian at the artist’s concert. The singer’s audience hopes that he will soon present a studio recording of the track.

“Tumani” – lyrics in Ukrainian

You didn’t come today
And for a long time I thought why
Wrote and called
I don’t know if you are sleeping
Maybe she found someone

I want to hear your voice.
Find out how you are there now?
But you disappeared for no reason and dissipated like smoke
I somehow keep myself…

And only the light does not go out
Your lonely window
I will stay under your window until dark

In my head are foggy,
But I will not wait for you
All friends talked for a long time
Forget her, forget…
And now there are wounds, wounds on the heart
But I love you so much,
I am in you as in a fog
I will drown quickly

I got lost in my thoughts
And your inbox is gone
Among white white walls
I wait like a shadow
You are definitely not alone anymore…

And only the light does not go out
Your lonely window
I will stay under your window until dark

In my head are foggy mana,
But I will not wait for you
All friends talked for a long time
Forget her, forget her…
And now on the heart wounds, wounds,
But I love you so much,
I am in you as in a fog
I will drown quickly

Note that earlier the producer of Max Barsky and the director Alan Badoev said that not all of the artist’s songs can sound in Ukrainian. They and the team decided to refuse translation if the hits could not be translated into Ukrainian literally – like, for example, the song “Girlfriend-Night”. In addition, according to Badoev, most fans themselves ask Max to perform Russian-language songs, because they have special personal value and memories for them.
