32-year-old Ukrainian singer Max Barskikh (real name – Nikolai Bortnik) on his Instagram, more than a million followers, said that he forbids the use of any of his music on the sites of the Russian Federation, since this country has unleashed a full-scale war with Ukraine and is now bombing peaceful cities, in particular , his hometown Kherson.

Max Barskikh said that from tomorrow his music will not be heard on the territory of the Russian Federation

“I officially declare that from tomorrow I prohibit the use of my music in any form on the territory of the Russian Federation – all TV channels, all radio stations, all films and television series where it was used as soundtracks. I also break all contracts with Russian companies. I do not want so that my music can be heard in the country that unleashed a war in Ukraine,” says Max Barskikh in the video.

Max Barskikh has been quite successful in concert activities in Russia before.

The comments gathered both Ukrainians, who supported the singer’s decision in a difficult time for the country and called him a hero, and Russians, who hastened to humiliate the singer and indicate that they would not suffer much from such “sanctions”.
