National Basketball Association represented by Latvian basketball player Kristaps Porziņģis (NBA), the Dallas Mavericks team presented the American Airlines Center arena parquet design, dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Dallas Club.

The design of the playing field will be dominated by green instead of blue, while the middle of the field will be decorated with the classic “Mavericks” logo, to which the number “40” will be added in the background.

The Mavericks were founded in 1980 and have been playing in the NBA ever since. In its history, the club has won one NBA championship in 2011, and twice won the conference.

Porziņģis became a Mavericks basketball player on January 31, 2019, when the Dallas team joined in exchange for another league unit, the New York Knicks.
