In gratitude for the services rendered to the cause of blood transfusions, Thérèse Bigourdan, Simone Piaser and Nadine Miquel were honored. This distinction took place on October 17 at the town hall of Mauvezin, in the presence of Estelle Sanz Perusin, president of the blood donation association of the Bastides du Val d’Arrats, the mayor of Mauvezin Alain Baqué and his deputy Josiane Chaptal and Marie-Chantal Roumat, president of the voluntary blood donation associations in the Gers, accompanied by her vice president Françoise Bontempi.
Many years of volunteering
Marie-Chantal Roumat warmly thanked these three people for their invaluable help over many years during the blood fights and presented each of them with the Knight of Blood Merit medal.
A glass of friendship closed this pleasant convivial moment. The appointment is set for the next blood collection in Mauvezin on November 21st.
