“Mauritania’s Hope” opens its election campaign and attacks the regime

Al-Akhbar (Nouakchott) – The “Mauritania Hope” coalition opened its electoral campaign, which is preparing for the upcoming May 13th, with a mass festival in the western province of Nouakchott.

During the campaign’s inaugural festival, speakers stressed the need for a change in the country’s course, speaking of the country’s poor conditions.

During the speech, the speakers said that bringing about change in the country in the upcoming elections requires voting on the electoral lists of the Republican Front for Unity and Democracy and the Mauritanian Hope Alliance.

A number of leaders of the Front party and the Mauritanian Hope Alliance and a number of candidates on behalf of the alliance spoke during the festival in the municipal, regional and parliamentary districts of Nouakchott.
