Former Tottenham Hotspur and PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino has revealed his “hate” for Milan’s French striker Olivier Giroud.
He hates the coach for the quality and ability he has bomber so tall. Pochettino really felt the threat posed by the striker as he strengthened Arsenal and Chelsea.
WHAT’S UP?
“I’ve always hated Giroud in the past because of Arsenal and Chelsea,” Pochettino said BBC commenting on France’s 3-1 victory over Poland.
“He’s a player you face and you know it [dia] able to do everything. It was incredible,” she added.
“He’s a player that we centre-backs hate because he’s a killer. In the penalty area he’s really difficult because he’s big, smart and very smart,” said the Argentine tactician.
SWITCHBOARD:
His only goal against Poland meant Giroud officially became France’s all-time top scorer with 52 goals, breaking the legendary record. Blues Thierry Henry [51 gol].
As for Pochettino, he is currently unemployed after stepping down as PSG manager last summer.
