Mattia Binotto starts again from automotive world after his farewell to Ferrari on 1 January 2023, at the end of 28 glorious years with the Maranello team. The 54-year-old Italian-Swiss engineer will be the new strategic coordinator of the ambitious E-Powertrain division of the Venetian company Texa of Monastier di Treviso, founded 32 years ago by Bruno Vianello. Binotto will have the task of making the division a global point of reference for the design, production and supply of new automotive components linked to the world of vehicle electrification (engines, inverters, power units and related software and complete axles, intended for high-performance sports cars).
Furthermore, on Tuesday 21 February, Binotto did so his entry into the Texa board of directorsalongside the founder and president Bruno Vianellofrom the vice president Eugene Razelli and the advisor Massimo Varaschin. “Beyond the competitive experience that I have always had in my life, what attracted me to Texa was the strategic audacity of its project to build an Italian excellence characterized by the most advanced technologies of new mobility – these are the words of the engineer Italian-Swiss former Ferrari —.
