“He was the protagonist of the theater for many years,” said artistic director Michael Grosse, who gave a brief introduction to Matthias Oelrich’s “Wundertüte 2.0”. “He is a mischievous, alert colleague,” he said and was also allowed to reveal his age. Oelrich recently celebrated his 80th birthday. More than 100 people came to the glass foyer of the Stadttheater to listen to him again, to his polished language, his well-chosen texts and his pointed jokes.
