Matthew Perry Reveals How He Wants to be Remembered in Emotional Interview, Found Dead in Los Angeles Apartment

In an emotional interview, Matthew Perry revealed how he wanted to be remembered when he died

Matthew Perry was found dead in the jacuzzi of his apartment in Los Angeles, California. The actor was 54 years old and had fought against addictions during his prime in acting, a situation that was public and helped many people not to go through that.

In an emotional interview with Tom Power at Toronto’s Hot Docs Ted Rogers Cinema, Matthew said how he would like to be remembered: “When I die, I know people will only talk about ‘Friends.’ And I’m proud of that, of being a solid actor, as well as giving people multiple opportunities to laugh… But when he dies I don’t want Friends to be the first thing they mention,” he mentioned.

“As far as my so-called achievements go, it would be nice if friends made a list of things I did to try to help other people. I know it won’t happen, but it would be nice,” added the beloved interpreter.

Finally, “I would like to be remembered as someone who lived well, loved well, was a seeker and most importantly wants to help people, that’s what I want,” stated Matthew Perry.

‘TMZ’ sources reported that Matthew Perry arrived home in the morning after playing two hours of his favorite sport, Pickleball, which combines elements of tennis, paddle tennis, badminton and table tennis. He then sent his assistant to place an order, but when he returned about two hours later, he found him unconscious in his hot tub around 4:00 p.m. local time in Los Angeles.

‘TMZ’ and ‘Los Angeles Times’ reported that the writer was also found in his jacuzzi, with signs of having drowned, but so far his sudden death continues to be investigated.
