The 60-year-old also criticized those responsible at BVB: “In my opinion, the bosses put too little pressure on their employees. After the season, a “clear and clean step” is needed, Matthäus continued. “If the bosses come to the conclusion that they still think Marco Rose is the right person, then you have to say goodbye to four or five players.”
