It’s a new challenge for Mattéo Tomasi. The young midfielder, who returned to Grenoble last year after an experience at Louhans Cuiseaux, is leaving the reserve of GF38 (R1) for Corsica. GFC Ajaccio, demoted during this offseason by the DNCG, has indeed formalized his arrival on Friday. He is a promising new recruit who thus reinforces the ranks of David Ducourtioux’s N3 group. He will wear the number 6.
Completely overhauled, the island team lost nearly 20 players and only had eight players at the start of August. Fortunately, the group has grown in recent weeks with the arrival of several reinforcements, many of whom have had experiences in the upper divisions like Jérémy Choplin, captain of Le Mans in the National last season. Gazélec, exempted from the first day due to an N3 Corsica-Mediterranean championship with 15 teams instead of 14, will start its season on September 4 with the reception of Istres.
Official arrivals: Anthony Ménard (C’Chartres, N2), Jérémy Choplin (Le Mans FC, N1), Pierre Kohser (Hyères 83 FC, N2), Nacerdine Rouabah (Olympique Saint-Quentin, N2), Dylan Price (VSJB FC, N3), Matteo Tomasi (Grenoble Foot 38 B, R1)
