We can probably all agree that Matrix’s number one is a cult that did not only affect the cinema segment. He also left a significant mark in the design of computer games. It’s not so famous with a double and a triple, but there is no consensus here, which is perfectly fine.
In any case, more than twenty years after the release of the first Matrix, we will see another volume in December this year. It’s called The Matrix Resurrections, and not only does Keanu Reeves report his return as Neo, but Carrie-Anne Moss as Trinity. On the contrary, Laurence Fishburne and unfortunately Hugo Weaving (Agent Smith) will be missing. The film is directed by Lana Wachowská.
The trailer begins with a conversation between Ne and the therapist, played by Neil Patrick Harris. It looks like Neo is trapped in the same world as at the beginning of the first Matrix. A number of other scenes are also familiar, which records the theory that the Matrix has reset and the old error is repeated. We’ll see.
As for the action, it looks nice. But that we would nod appreciatively at a scene, no. On the contrary, some moments are a bit convulsive and have a slightly flatulence. And Keanu Reeves looks like he bounced straight from John Wick to shoot Matrix 4. It will probably be he who tightens the whole film without any problems. So maybe the Matrix won’t kill his dog.
