In the current economic context, which is particularly difficult, the Matmut Group is responding positively to all the wishes expressed by the Minister of the Economy, Finance and Recovery, in particular by not increasing its insurance rates for 2021. Companies, Professionals and Associations, and this, all sectors combined.
The Matmut Group is historically close to professionals, especially economic players real what are the VSEs and SMEs. At the start of the health crisis, the Group was also committed to maintaining the insurance coverages for the SMEs and TPE in difficulty, even in the event of late payment. He maintains this commitment today, including the first quarter of 2021.
In addition, the Matmut Group undertakes to set up free of charge for 2021 a assistance cover in the event of hospitalization related to Covid-19 for business leaders and their employees under its contracts insurance professional multi-risk.
Specific measures had also been decided in favor of nursing staff :
• For the nurses and liberal nurses as well as retired physicians resuming work and called upon for temporary assignments within the framework of COVID-19 : -50% on their contribution of Public liability (RC) medical and free of these extensions of activities.
• For the physiotherapists and osteopaths whose offices were requisitioned by l’ARS : 1 quarter of their firm’s insurance contract offered.
Commenting on decisions taken by the Matmut Group, Nicolas Gomart, Vice-President and General Manager, declared:” The Matmut Group is naturally concerned about the consequences of the unprecedented health and economic crisis we are going through. He set up many solidarity measures for its individual members, in particular by freezing the rates ofcar insurance for 2021 or by granting contribution reductions for job seekers. But it has also, for several months, carried out concrete actions of solidarity for its membership made up of professionals and d’associations, hard hit by the consequences of the crisis. ”
The Matmut Group has indeed carried out concrete support actions within professional and associative universes, through the financing of a digital simulator eligibility for business support measures by public authorities; but also by committing to a pool of mutual insurers to propose a insurance solution in addition to public fund for cinema professionals ; finally, by committing to the level of 50 000 euros alongside the Rouen Normandy metropolis, in the Local Solidarity Emergency Plan, to create an exceptional support fund to help solidarity associations mobilized on the Rouen territory.
The Matmut Group finally joined the collective action carried out by all the members of the French Insurance Federation (FFA). Exceptional solidarity measures which today amount to nearly 3.2 billion euros. Among them: a participation of 400 million euros the solidarity fund set up by the public authorities in favor of TPE and independent, or an investment of1.5 billion euros to support the economic recovery, especially ETI (mid-sized companies), SMEs, the sector health or that of tourism.
