Former resident of the Olympique Lyonnais training center, the Isérois midfielder Mathis Louiserre arrives in January at the Lyon-La Duchère club, which is not entirely unknown to him.
After six months in the workforce of the Olympique Saint-Quentin club, in the National 2 championship, Mathis Louiserre is returning to the Rhône. But not at Olympique Lyonnais – where he was trained and with whom he played as a reserve in 2018-2019. The native of Grenoble joined the Lyon-La Duchère club for a minimum of six months.
Back home
This arrival is no coincidence. The player has already played under the red and yellow colors of the other club Lyon, during the 2020-2021 season. He had left the club for another challenge but, finally, he returns with new intentions.
“I am extremely happy to be back. La Duchère is a club that I particularly like and where I know a lot of people. The group is known for being hardworking with talented players who have ambition. I left my previous club because the sports project offered by La Duch’ suits me better. We had a good group last year but the mayonnaise never took, however, I think this year it’s different The club has wiped the slate clean and we are going to start again for this second half of the season.”, he said when announcing his return.
The 21-year-old left-hander joins a team currently 10th in Pool C of National 2, whose coach changed a few weeks ago.
