Brazil national team coach Dorival Junior has called up former Club Al Hilal first team star and current Cruzeiro player Matheus Pereira to the national team roster for the first time in his current career .
Pereira will play with the Brazilian national team, replacing the suspended Lucas Paqueta, to face Peru, in the South American continent’s qualification for the 2026 World Cup.
Al Hilal signed the Brazilian player in July 2021, coming from West Bromwich Albion in England, in one of the most expensive contracts in the history of the Roshen League at the time.
