Duran K., stating that his son received a report of incapacity for work for 10 days as a result of the blows he received, said, “Another student went to teacher Ali Rıza Y. and said, ‘TK cursed you’. He also kicked and beat my son out of the classroom. “We received a complaint from the prosecutor’s office and filed a criminal complaint against the teacher. What kind of teacher is this. Beating a child of this age to death hurt us deeply as a family,” he said.

The Provincial Directorate of National Education stated that the teacher was suspended and said, “The teacher has been suspended from classes by our Governor’s Office regarding the incident in which Ali Rıza Y., the teacher working at Şehit Salih Aksu Secondary School in Ortaköy District, battered our student, and the judicial and administrative investigation is continuing.” .
TEACHER RELEASED BY JUDICIAL CONTROL DECISION
Aksaray Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office announced that teacher Ali Rıza Y. was taken into custody after the violence he inflicted on his student and that he was released with a judicial control decision by the court he was brought to. In the statement, which stated that teacher Ali Rıza Y. was detained for 1 day, the following was stated: “On 14/12/2021, an investigation was started immediately by our Ortaköy Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, the suspect teacher was detained, and detention measures were applied for one day, after the suspect was transferred to the Ortaköy Criminal Court of Peace for judicial control. The investigation process is carried out meticulously by our Office of the Chief Public Prosecutor.
