Who will PiS field in the upcoming Polish presidential elections? Name exchange

It is still unknown who PiS plans to field in next year’s presidential elections. Work on selecting a candidate has been going on intensively since June this year. Currently, PiS has formed two main groups of potential candidates. The “younger” ones include Karol Nawrocki, MEP Tobiasz Bocheński and MEP Marcin Przydacz. The second group are politicians with longer experience, such as Mariusz Błaszczak or Mateusz Morawiecki, but intra-party trends indicate a preference for the younger candidate.

As reported by “Rzeczpospolita”, currently the president of the Institute of National Remembrance, Dr. Karol Nawrocki, who is a close associate of Jarosław Kaczyński, has the greatest chance of being nominated.. However, as anonymous informants from various factions within the party emphasize, the decisions are still not certain.
