“I did a lot of research on movies.. I already had a bible of what King was like. A description of what the character becomes. You then put something together with that. I was taking things from characters from series and movies, like Euforia or some things from Valerio in Elite,” commented the guest about the formation of the character.
“How much of Mateo does Rey have?” asked the host. “Quite a bit. Rey out there is a little more clumsy,” responded the Margarita actor.
For his part, Mateo said that it was upon his return to Buenos Aires that he discovered his passion for acting and art, which led to working with Cris Morena. “It wasn’t planned… I learned a lot with Cris Morena,” he commented.
