After a pause due to the FIFA date, Liga MX returned this weekend with Matchday 13 of Apertura 2023, one of the 5 remaining of the regular season in the Mexican tournament.
The teams want to qualify directly to the group stage and avoid reclassification. The general table is led by América with 27 points, followed by Tigres (22 points) while Pumas and Chivas (with one more game) are tied with 21 in third and fourth place, respectively. Necaxa occupies the last place.
