Preview

Reluctant to be embarrassed and certainly reluctant to endure embarrassment, Zinedine Zidane will certainly prepare his team as best they can when Monchengladbach arrives in the Spanish capital.

Yes, it is safe for Madrid to muzzle Monchengladbach to qualify for the last 16 of the Champions League, failing to celebrate at the end of the match, they have the opportunity to fail to step into the knockout phase of the most elite club competition in Europe for the first time.

Luckily for Zidane, a number of important players who were previously absent are expected to be able to play again to strengthen the team. Sergio Ramos and Dani Carvajal were reportedly ready to play from the first minute.

It would be difficult not to win Real Madrid with a complete squad, especially in the last league match they managed to outperform Sevilla 1-0. Even though the winning goal in the match came from an own goal, it still added morale to Zidane’s men.

Even so, El Real still have to be vigilant if they don’t want to slip at home to remember Alaves, Cadiz and Shakhtar have won in the Spanish capital this season so that the German team still has a chance to win and bring surprises and there is one note that should not be forgotten, namely Gladbach has always scored at least two goals in their last six away games.

Real Madrid on standby!

Prediction: Real Madrid 3-1 Borussia Monchengladbach
