From Wednesday night’s match in Västerås, IK Sävehof got a point. The second task of the season in the Handball league ended 28–28.
It was the home team that started the scoring in the match, but then Sävehof found the right four times. However, the first half was not going to be very goal-rich and neither team came away with a large margin. A quarter into the match, the tie was restored and at the break only one ball separated VästeråsIrsta’s advantage.
It was then completely even with 15 minutes left to play, but then Sävehof struck with three straight goals. First Stina Wiksfors scored 21-20 before Nina Koppang put double balls in the net.
However, the little push would not last all the way, but with just under 90 seconds left to play, the equalizer came. On penalty, Olivia Mellegård then took the team back into the lead via the crossbar, but VästeråsIrsta would have time to equalize one last time. It also happened from the seven-meter line, where Tilde Skoog stepped forward and established the final score at 28–28.
