SC Cambuur resumes the competition tonight (8 p.m.) with a home match against FC Volendam. Here you can read practical information for your visit to the match against the Volendam team.
Temporary scoreboards
Additional LED Boarding has been installed in both the North and South stands, which serve as temporary scoreboards. The installation of the Video Walls (scoreboards) in the Kooi Stadium will take place in the coming period.
Music
Live music will be played in the South Stand area beforehand (DJ Ferdinand) and at half-time (Jelmer de Vries). DJ Quinten provides the musical accompaniment during half time in the East Stand.
Various activities on East
The East Stand area is decorated in an Oktoberfest theme. Before the match there are various activities and a Hooghoud Challenge, where a ball with player signatures can be won.
The Speaker
The latest edition of De Speaker is out! The club magazine will be distributed after the match and will soon also be available to read digitally.
Guest of honor
On the field in the run-up to kick-off, our guest of honor Michiel Hemmen will be interviewed by Fred van Dijk. The former striker played 79 official matches in yellow and blue. He scored 27 goals.
Minute of silence
Before the match, a minute’s silence will be observed due to the death of Johan Neeskens. The former football player and trainer died on October 6 at the age of 73.
Extended catering time
During the first matches in the Kooi Stadium, it was allowed to sell food and drinks until the 80th minute. This has now been expanded for the match against FC Volendam. Sales are permitted in the North and East stands until half an hour after the match.
Last tickets
The North Stand is sold out until the last seat, but tickets are still available for the East and South Stands. It is not necessary to have a SC Cambuur season or club card to purchase tickets. Free sales apply to this competition.
