We must forget the two return trips on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at the Matane-Côte-Nord ferry for at least a month. The imposition of a curfew to curb the spread of COVID-19 has prompted the Société des traversiers du Québec (STQ) to change the schedule.
In a press release issued early Friday evening, the STQ unveiled its game plan. In order to allow customers to comply with the new measure imposed by the Government of Quebec, only two daily crossings will be made seven days a week and starting on Sunday, January 10.
Monday to Friday, Saaremaa I will leave Matane at 8 a.m. towards Baie-Comeau or Godbout, depending on the day. The return will be at 3 p.m. from the north shore.
On Saturdays, the departure from Matane towards Godbout is at 8 a.m. and the return at 11 a.m. Finally, on Sundays, there is a question of a departure from Matane to Baie-Comeau at 12 p.m. and a return at 3 p.m.

With this reduction in service, customers are invited more than ever to reserve their seats.
