Recently, the newspaper Time decided to suspend the famous cartoonist Matador for beating his wife, as denounced by the lawyer Abelardo de la Espriella.
The lawyer De la Espriella sent a letter addressed to the newspaper and asked to withdraw Matador from the newspaper, given that in 2013 “He beat and violated his wife.”
The artist acknowledged what happened in a video posted on his YouTube account, apologized to his children and said that the previous complaint occurred in the midst of his “fight as a cartoonist against powerful enemies who want to silence my work.”
A few days later, Matador’s Twitter account appeared, with both your profile photo and cover photo in white, as well as 13 images, in a time slot between 6:05 pm and 6:07 pm on this Holy Thursday, April 6.
In none of the 13 blank images is there any notice or notification from Twitter that warns what happened to them.
And it wasn’t just on Twitter. Matador’s followers They also noticed that the same thing appeared on their Instagram account.
It is worth noting that the blank images appear with comments from Internet users and some began to draw their conclusions.
Next, Some of the Twitter posts mentioned:
“Clearly, Matador is posting blank images, with no text; Furthermore, he changed his profile photos to blank images in order to attract attention. Twitter has not blocked it, nor is it censoring it, much less they are hacking (…) Are there ways to speak without pronouncing anything? For sure yes (…) hacked (…) Even if they try… they don’t succeed… don’t worry, Matador (…) It seems that you hacked the account, Matador (…) Why does Matador appear blank on Twitter and Instagram?” were some of the comments from Matador’s followers.
It is worth noting that the cartoonist’s YouTube account works normally and, up to now, this note has been published on WEEK (Friday, April 7), there has been no pronouncement by Matador about what happened on his Twitter and Instagram profiles.
