The portal notes that the total number of plays was increased by the premiere of the music video. “Out of a total of 200 songs in the ranking, ‘Kiss cam (pickup of the year) is one of just 18 that get most of its playback from video services, not audio platforms,” adds Billboard.
Young Mata recently broke the Polish record for the most frequently listened song in a day. His single “Kiss cam (pick-up of the year)” was played as many as 701,519 times – thanks to which he broke the record set for the song “Patokreacja” (then it was 643 846 plays).
Besides Mat, on Billboard Global Excl. Japanese artist Kenshi Yonezu also made his US debut. His song “Shinigami” was ranked 55th on the charts and “Daydream” at 173th place on the charts. These songs rank second and fourth in the best-selling singles outside the United States, respectively (22,400 and 15,000 respectively).
The best selling song of the week is “Bad Habits” Eda Sheerana (41,600). The song “Pale Blue” by Yonezu (21,100) was in third place.
