Actress Sherine Abdel Wahab entertained the audience at the “Masterpieces of Al-Sunbati” concert, which was held as part of the “Riyadh Season” activities, sponsored by Counselor Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Sherine chose the song “My Eyes Came Back,” which was previously sung by Umm Kulthum. It was written by Ahmed Rami and composed by Riyad Al-Sunbati. The song received admiration and interaction from the Saudi audience.
The “Masterpieces of Al-Sunbati” concert began with the playing of a number of his famous melodies by an orchestra that included many musicians from around the world, led by Maestro Hani Farhat.
This is before the stars of the late night concert rise to the Abu Bakr Salem stage, to present many of the late musician’s songs by the most prominent and brightest singing stars in the Arab world, namely the artist Saber Al-Rubai, the artist Mai Farouk, the artist Reham Abdel Hakim, the artist Iman Abdel Ghani, the artist Fouad Zabadi, Artist Ahmed Saad and artist Sherine Abdel Wahab.
It is noteworthy that Counselor Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, had announced the holding of many artistic, social and even combat events within the “Riyadh Season”, where a number of concerts were recently held by the most prominent musicians in Egypt and the Arab world in appreciation and honor of their journey. The most prominent of them were the “Masterpieces of Baligh Hamdi” concert, the “Masterpieces of Al-Muji” concert in honor of the late musician Muhammad Al-Muji, and the “Shenouda Memories” concert in honor of the great musician Hani Shenouda.
