“Masterpieces of Al-Muji” Musical Night Honors Late Egyptian Musician with Star-Studded Performances.

The Abu Bakr Salem Theater in Riyadh witnessed a distinguished musical night, which lasted until the early hours of Friday morning, under the title “Masterpieces of Al-Muji” in honor of the history and name of the late Egyptian musician, Muhammad Al-Muji.

During the ceremony, a documentary film about the Egyptian musician’s career was shown, to introduce the audience to the most important stations of his artistic life, through which interviews were conducted with a number of musicians and his family members, and some art critics.

A large number of stars from Egypt and the Arab world participated in the ceremony, most notably Sherine Abdel Wahab, Angham, Saber Al-Ribai, Majid Al-Mohandes, Zina Emad, Mai Farouk, Wael Jassar, and Abadi Al-Johar. Among the most prominent clips that were widely circulated through the social media, during the concert, was the appearance of the Egyptian composer Helmy Bakr, and his eagerness to attend, but in a wheelchair, and this concert is his first official appearance after his recent ill health.
