12th edition of the project “Masterchef. Professionals”-4 reminded a dozen participants that they are, first of all, competitors. Therefore, the tests were to complicate the task for each other. In addition, the judges chose one professional and invited him to their roster. Who became the lucky one? And was it really this participant who decided the fate of his opponent by sending him home? Ten of the best chefs of the country visited the kitchen of MasterChef. Professionals -4, where they were already waiting for a team test. The competition was intended to remind the participants that working in a restaurant is always a joint effort. At first, two teams formed, but with obvious leaders. Ivan Ivanchuk decided to correct the situation on his own in order to balance the forces. Artem Kabulakhin and Ivan Ivanchuk became captains today, but left the kitchen.
“Our competition will be held in two stages. The first is theory, the second is practice. The theoretical part consists of three rounds: collect products for a classic dish, which the captain must guess. Each guessed dish – 1 point per team. All points will actually be your currency in the practical part, for which you will purchase products from the barn for the already main dishes. What to cook – you decide for yourself, we do not limit you. The main thing is that it should be a classic dish”said the judges.
Ivan was able to guess 9 dishes, so his team got 9 points. Cooked chicken Le Cordon Bleu. But Artyom’s team was ahead of the rivals by 1 point. Ukrainian cabbage rolls were chosen for presentation to the judges.
Ivan’s team won, because the participants impressed with their presentation and a real show. The sauce was served in a processed egg shell, and the chicken itself was laid out on a glass over a haystack. Artyom’s team lost, so the captain and Anton Gilchuk got black aprons.
The second test was one of the most difficult. To cope with it means to be worthy of the tenth season of the 4th season of MasterChef. Professionals”. But the level of difficulty depended on … rivals. Poison the life of a colleague or help a competitor? Having friends who are direct rivals is a luxury that only exists in the project’s kitchen.
The professionals drew cards with the names of their opponents. Subsequently, each approached the opponent’s set of products and determined which dish to cook for him. Among the three options, there were those that matched the ingredients perfectly, and there were those that did not match the recipe at all. The main thing is to find simple solutions to complex challenges.
So, for example, Regina decided that Sasha Gritsenko would cook tiramisu from carbonara food sets. Eduard chose rolls for Voloshin, although Victor had ingredients for millefeuille among the products. Anton Gilchuk chose Kiev cake for Ivan Ivanchuk, although the products indicated sabayon. Artyom Kabulakhin cooked BBQ ribs from cabbage.

Ivan, Artem and Alexei did the best. But three participants received black aprons at once: Eduard, Anastasia and Anton Bogdanov.

Edik, Tokha, Nastya and Anton Gilchuk competed at Black’s battle. The judges announced the conditions of the competition, and also provided a bonus to Ivan Ivanchuk for his best dish. It was he who showed the master class to the participants in black. They prepared the Kiev cake from the previous competition – that is, from the ingredients for the sabayon.
