This Monday, TVE 1 returned to broadcast its flagship program. The 11th edition of MasterChef of anonymous contestants experienced an unexpected moment for the audience. The chain already advanced days ago that its new ‘XL’ format would come with changes, such as that each week there will be two programs (Monday and Tuesday) and, therefore, two eliminations.
But what we did not expect is that the talent culinary whose judges are Jordi Cruz, Samantha Vallejo-Nágera and Pepe Rodríguez he would make a bombshell by expelling two of his applicants at once.
So far, the XL edition of MasterChef 11 has had two contestants eliminated: Roberto, who was the first to say goodbye to the program; and Rachel. With the expulsion of this last applicant, there was a surprise play-off in the last program of one of the participants who was left at the gates of the contest; Karla.

But the surprises did not remain in the past week, since on Monday night, the first of this week, there were two goodbyes instead of oneas was expected.
It was during one of the tests of the program in which the contestants had to cook in pairs. In this challenge, the favorites were Laura and Camino. The rest of the duos were: Jeremy and Marta, Ana and Tuki, Eneko and Alex and Francesc and Fray Marcos.

All of them got rid of the last test, the elimination. Carlota and Sergio were saved by the decision of the best in the test, but there were three other contestants who did not suffer the same fate: Frank, Karla and Pilu.

Faced with these criticisms, Karla could not help but burst into tears. “I think that having entered here the last one, being the new one, has hurt me a bit in the sense that I don’t have that much affinity“, she justified herself.
Frank, for his part, did not expect that double expulsion either and expressed his pain at the farewell: “I am very ashamed.” To which Pepe Rodríguez replied: “Only apologize for the bad things you do, but not for the bad dishes you make. you are here to learn“.
Despite the shock, the jury of MasterChef He has considered that his test was not new and has thus fired two more contestants in this new edition.
