Mastercard launches AI chatbot to help with shopping

Artificial intelligence (AI) and chatbots are definitely one of the hottest trends this year. Almost every day there is a news that some industry giant has decided to develop an AI solution and offer it to customers. One of them that we want to talk about is “Mastercard”. Mastercard’s digital personalization and artificial intelligence subsidiary Dynamic Yield by Mastercard announced its AI chatbot Shopping Muse at the end of November to help with shopping.

According to Dynamic Yield, the Shopping Muse bot will “change the way consumers search and find products in retailers’ digital catalogs.” Users will be able to ask queries in plain language and the chatbot will provide personalized recommendations. It has not yet been specified which e-commerce sites the new solution will be available on.

Mastercard Dynamic Yield CEO Ori Bauer emphasizes that a personalized approach gives people the shopping experience they want. With the help of artificial intelligence, the company aims to provide comprehensive and customized online shopping.

It should be noted that in 2022 Mastercard acquired the digital personalization company Dynamic Yield from its then owner McDonald’s and then renamed it Dynamic Yield by Mastercard.
