After Halo: Reach and Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, 343 Industries continues to work on the other titles in the Master Chief Collection, with Halo 2: Anniversary in mind.

- Content available in multiplayer for Halo 2: Lockout, Midship, Beaver Creek, Burial Mounds, Coagulation, Headlong, Waterworks, Containment, Sanctuary, and Turf maps.
- Content available in multiplayer for Halo 2: Anniversary: Lockdown, Zenith, Stonetown, Bloodline, and Shrine.
