Riots, liquidations and the most famous kidnapping case in Dutch history: during the try-out of the theater show Code Blauw in Kasteel de Wittenburg in Wassenaar, Klaas Wilting took the audience along in his story about the turbulent years with the Amsterdam police.
In addition to the spectacular images and interviews, the former police officer tells the story behind the news headlines and places today’s drug crime in context. Journalists and radio makers Martin Reitsma from Delfgauw and Martijn Mastenbroek from Pijnacker had an extensive interview with the well-known former police officer on The Hague FM last week. It turned out to be a very fascinating conversation with striking statements and an open critical view of the current police organization and social problems. “With the policy of tolerance for drugs for many years, the government squandered our constitutional state,” said Klaas. Also ‘lord of the castle’ Ralf Meppelder was a guest and expressed great admiration for Klaas Wilting’s theater show. The complete broadcast can be listened to on the Youtube and Spotify channel of ‘Dossier Mastenbroek’.
