MEXICO CITY, February 18 (EL UNIVERSAL).- The government of Mexico City estimated that 90 thousand people attended the March for Democracy that took place this Sunday.
Through a statement, the Government Secretariat, together with the Citizen Security Secretariat, announced the figure estimated by both agencies and said that there was a white balance.
“The government of Mexico City provided all the guarantees so that this event would take place in safe conditions, peacefully and with respect for the freedom of expression of those who attended,” he stated.
In addition, he said that the administration reaffirmed its commitment to guarantee the free expression of the ideas of the inhabitants of the country’s capital.
