An air alert has been declared in all regions of Ukraine. According to preliminary data, the reason for this decision is the massive take-offs of MiG-31K fighters, which are equipped with hypersonic “Dagger” missiles.
There is currently a missile threat and civilians are being urged not to ignore air raid warnings.
“MiG-31K aircraft of the Russian Federation took off from Savasleyka Airport. Do not ignore the air warning signal!”, the press service of the Ukrainian Air Force announced.
These fighters are capable of delivering their missiles over long distances at high speed, making them a potential threat to many targets.
At the moment, there is no exact information in which direction the fighter jets are moving and what their intentions are. The Ukrainian authorities decided to introduce an airstrike warning as a precaution, but such actions are absolutely useless, since hypersonic missiles reach their targets in just a few seconds.
Experts do not rule out new strikes on Ukraine in response to the attack on Novorossiysk and a tanker near the Crimean bridge.
