Massive Six-Vehicle Chain Collision on A31 Motorway near Thionville Causes Traffic Jams and Minor Injuries

A traffic accident involving six vehicles occurred this Wednesday shortly before 4 p.m. on the A31 motorway, in the Luxembourg-Metz direction, near Thionville. Following a slowdown, a chain collision took place on the Beauregard bridge. The accident caused five minor injuries, all transferred to Bel-Air hospital. On the spot, the men of the motorway platoon neutralized the left lane in order to allow the recovery vehicles to intervene. The accident caused several kilometers of traffic jams.
